About Me

I’m a trained Clinical Psychologist and an internationally certified Parenting Coach, with 15+ years experience in the field of mental health.

I’m a doctorate in clinical psychology from NIMHANS (India) and a postdoctoral fellow from the Parenting and Family Support Centre at the University of Queensland (Australia). I’m one of the first Indians to have received accreditation for the Triple-P (Positive Parenting Program), one of the largest evidence-based parenting programs in the world. But degrees and qualifications aren’t enough- I also get parents because I’m a parent myself. I use my qualifications and experience to translate proven science and child development research into practical solutions you need for the family life you want.

I am a proponent of positive parenting, the approach to parenting which emphasizes parents’ relationship with their child. In my research and parent consultations, I have evidenced how positive parenting strategies yield desirable child behaviour, improve parent-child communication, and reduce parental stress.

I’ve helped thousands of Indian families across India, Singapore, and Australia find transformative solutions to everything from separation anxiety and picky eating problems to rude talk and cell phones.

I live in Bangalore, India, and am the proud parent of two happy and kind children who are being raised with positive parenting.
