Through case breakdowns, live demos, and real scripts,
we’ll show you how to:
It’s not passive learning. It’s practical readiness.
“What stood out was the balance between scientific rationale and emotional insight. Every strategy had a clear framework, and every concept was explored in depth.”
These courses are designed for psychologists, counsellors, and mental health professionals who want to build skills in working with Indian couples using trauma-informed, culturally grounded approaches.
Level 1 is a 2-day foundational workshop that covers the basics of couple therapy and trauma-informed frameworks.
Level 2 is an advanced, in-depth 6-month training with weekly live classes, recorded content, and supervision to help you grow confidence and competence in real practice.
If you’re just starting out or want to build a solid foundation, Level 1 is the right fit — no prior experience needed.
If you’re already seeing couples and want to deepen your skills, Level 2 is designed for you, where some prior experience seeing therapy clients is needed.
Yes. In Level 2, participants receive either group or individual supervision, peer learning, and expert guidance on applying concepts to real cases.
We integrate evidence-based Western models (like EFT, Gottman, Polyvagal Theory) with Indian family dynamics, relationship patterns, and social realities like gender, caste, and collectivism.
Yes. Both Level 1 and Level 2 centre around trauma-informed care—understanding trauma responses, building emotional safety, and avoiding re-traumatization in therapy.
The course is led by Dr. Meghna Singhal, a leading clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in couples and parenting work. Her approach is rooted in Indian realities and global best practices.
We don’t assign clients directly, but we guide you on how to build your visibility and outreach—so you can start finding pro-bono clients independently. You’re encouraged to bring these real cases into our group supervision sessions for feedback and support.
Yes, participants who complete the full course (which includes 85% attendance in the core learning modules and one type of supervision) will receive a certificate of completion from Raising Family Academy.
Yes, lifetime access to recordings is provided for both Level 1 and Level 2 courses.
We’ll be launching our Positive Parenting Training courses next year. You can express interest at the Parenting Level 1 course page.
